Playing the Trumpet F♯ Major Scale (and G♭ Enharmonic)
Written F♯ Major contains six sharps (F♯, C♯, G♯, D♯, A♯, E♯) and sounds as Concert E Major on a B♭ trumpet (an essential key for horn-section R&B, funk, pop, and rock guitar tunes!). Remember that the seventh scale degree E♯5 is enharmonically identical to F5—played cleanly with Valve 1.
