Playing the Trumpet E♭ Major Scale
Written E♭ Major carries three flats (B♭, E♭, A♭) and sounds as Concert D♭ Major on a B♭ trumpet. Running from first-line E♭4 (2 - 3) to fourth-space E♭5 (2 or 2 - 3), this scale is a staple of wind ensemble auditions and jazz standards.
